Lafangey Parindey

Pinky Palkar dreams of a national television talent show as her ticket out of poverty. She works at a mall skating rink and trains with her friend Tina while supporting her mother and younger brother in a Mumbai chawl. The dream fuels her through the tough surroundings and sets the quest in motion.

Nandu, a fighter who pummels opponents in the ring, and his friends frequently mock Pinky during her practice. Frustrated by their interference, Pinky relocates her rehearsal to a different location. The ongoing taunting foreshadows the friction that will eventually bloom into love.

Usman Bhai orders Nandu to drive on a risky job while Anna handles the main task. An eunuch approaches and Nandu pays him before chaos erupts. Anna is shot and later dies as Nandu’s reckless driving leads to a crash; the police quickly suspect an accomplice.

Nandu learns that he has struck Pinky with his SUV after the crash. He pays Pinky’s hospital bills, operations, and medicines, but she still loses her eyesight. The incident occurs on a rainy night as Pinky returns from practice.

Investigating officer KK Sethna realizes Anna wasn’t driving and identifies an accomplice. Footprints in the car’s base show the driver swapped seats, deepening the mystery. Sethna keeps digging, focusing on links to Usman’s operation.

Remorseful, Nandu funds Pinky’s treatment and begins training her to 'see' with her other senses. Pinky learns to fight and react through feeling while Nandu learns to skate so they can perform as a team. A slow-blooming romance develops as they train together.

The accomplice is traced to Usman’s house, and fingerprints on the car from the accident are matched to Nandu. The breakthrough sharpens the pursuit around Nandu and Usman.

As auditions approach, Nandu and Pinky overcome a mistake and advance to the next round. In a personal turn, Nandu quits boxing and takes a job as a bar bouncer, which further fuels Usman’s anger.

The whole Chawl comes together to help Nandu and Pinky train and pray for their success. Neighbors share meals, lend equipment, and offer emotional support as the final rounds approach.

Pinky and Nandu reach the final; Pinky publicly proclaims her love for Nandu. Usman pressures him to throw the last fight in exchange for retirement, and Nandu agrees to protect Pinky by taking a fall.

The police inspector reveals to Pinky that Nandu was the driver who caused the accident, but his actions were meant to save her life. Pinky grapples with the truth and the meaning of his sacrifice.

Together they perform the final routine and win the talent show. Pinky forgives Nandu after learning of his sacrifice, and the inspector decides not to arrest him, recognizing how he helped rebuild Pinky’s life.
