Amrit Rathod, an NSG commando, and his colleague Viresh Chatwal arrive back in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, after completing their mission. They reconnect with the local environment and their personal lives. Amrit secretly harbors feelings for Tulika Singh, the daughter of a powerful businessman.

Baldev Singh Thakur, Tulika's father, arranges her engagement to Jass Pratap Singh. This causes tension, as Amrit and Viresh consider intervening to stop the match. Amrit expresses his love to Tulika, asking her to elope, but she refuses due to fear of her father's repercussions.

Tulika's family and Tulika herself travel on a super-fast express train from Ranchi to New Delhi for the engagement. Amrit and Viresh also board the same train, secretly hoping to reach Tulika before she is married.

At Daltonganj station, armed bandits led by Fani Bhushan hijack the train, killing guards and seizing control of certain coaches. Fani's gang plans to rob wealthy passengers and escape before authorities can intervene. Baldev Singh Thakur, also on the train, becomes a target for ransom.

Fani learns that Baldev is on the train and aims to kidnap him for ransom. During the chaos, Fani kills Baldev’s bodyguard Virat and attempts to kidnap the businessman, but Amrit and Viresh fight back to protect the family. In the process, Viresh kills Babban, Fani's uncle.

Fani captures Viresh and uses a child hostage to threaten Amrit. Fani also captures Ravi and plans to use Tulika as leverage. Amrit searches to rescue Ahaana, Tulika’s sister, who is trapped on the train. The situation escalates as the bandits become violent and unpredictable.

Fani stabs Tulika during a confrontation and throws her off the train, which devastates Amrit. Tulika’s death fuels Amrit’s rage, leading him to go on a violent rampage against the bandits to avenge her. Meanwhile, the police and security forces plan to rescue the remaining hostages.

The police and passengers block access to coaches, fighting off bandits and freeing Ahaana and other hostages. Amid brutal combat, Siddhi, the bandit enforcer, is killed by passengers. Fani and remaining gang members narrowly escape, still holding hostages.

Amrit, badly wounded, fights Fani in a dark coach. After a fierce struggle, Amrit kills Fani with a hammer and fists, avenging Tulika. Beni Bhushan warns Fani about the consequences of killing Tulika, emphasizing the retribution from her family.

Security forces arrive at Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhaya Railway Station, rescuing the remaining passengers and ending the hijacking. Amrit, critically injured, sits on a bench contemplating Tulika's death, experiencing hallucinations and emotional trauma.
