Two intertwined narratives unfold around a weathered mansion in the Karnataka countryside, where a chilling rumor about the house collides with a calculated plan for profit. The first thread follows a documentary film crew, skeptical yet curious, who arrive with a spiritual adviser and a scientist armed with a device that measures ghost activity. They intend to return at a more auspicious moment to attempt an exorcism and, perhaps, separate truth from superstition.

In parallel, Thilak Tilak Shekar, a spoiled, rich kid, has his glittering lifestyle upended after gambling away a large sum of money. His father, Devaraj, refuses to bail him out following a sham plea for help, while Amruta Anisha Ambrose, Thilak’s sister, begs their father to intervene. When Amruta is abducted and a ransom note lands on Devaraj’s doorstep, the plan compels Thilak to deliver the money, guiding him to the very abandoned mansion that hangs over the countryside.

Inside this same mansion, the five youngsters uncover an old book recounting the life of Vaidehi, a woman long considered ill-omened from her marriage. Her story ends in tragedy as she is tortured to death by a family intent on erasing the curse they fear. Since then, Vaidehi’s spirit is said to haunt the house and claim the lives of those who enter. As spectral events escalate, Rohit Rockstar Rohith is mortally wounded yet manages to warn Tilak about an evil spirit supposedly inhabiting Amruta, before seeming to die. In a startling twist, Rohit is revealed to be alive and complicit in a con orchestrated with Amruta to defraud Thilak and others.

Back in Bangalore, Thilak and Amruta resume their lives, but the illusion begins to crumble. The investigation reveals that Rohit and Amruta orchestrated the hauntings to manipulate perceptions and extract money, and Rohit is shown selling the house to investors. The haunting resumes on the anniversary of Vaidehi’s death, trapping the couple inside the bungalow with Vaidehi’s spirit—and sealing the uncanny loop that ties the two storylines together in a single, haunting convergence.
