Kencha is a local youth in Kalasipalya who spends his days playing cricket, getting into fights, and hanging out with his friends Gilli, Prakash, and Raju. He lives with his father Seetharam, his mother Janaki, and his sister Anitha, while his father often scolds him for not finishing his SSLC examination and for lacking a clear aim in life. Kencha’s world shifts when he meets his neighbor Priya, who falls in love with him, injecting a new complexity into his already turbulent life.
Kalasipalya is shown as a ground where power is exercised by gangsters—Kota Prabhakar, Munna Bhai, and his brother Jaleel—who leverage a syndicate network to back their mentor, MLA Krishnappa. Kencha’s fierce response comes when he guts Kota Prabhakar and his henchmen after they threaten to pour acid on his sister Anitha, signaling that he will not tolerate intimidation. On election day, he also confronts Jaleel when the latter coerces people to vote for Krishnappa and harasses Priya, making it clear that he will stand against the forces of fear and coercion.
Munna Bhai responds by wreaking havoc at Kencha’s home, forcing him to withdraw a complaint and retreat temporarily. Despite this, Kencha decides to seek a better future by starting an eatery with his friends, a plan that his parents welcome with pride and support. The stall initially brings promise and a sense of purpose, but trouble follows as Jaleel and his drunken associates begin visiting the stall and openly abuse Gilli, challenging Kencha’s restraint and threatening the quiet life he tries to build.
The conflict comes to a head when Jaleel beats up Gilli, and in a moment of intense anger and fear, Kencha accidentally kills Jaleel and goes into hiding with his friends. The violence triggers a brutal turn of events at Kencha’s home: Munna Bhai storms in and kills Seetharam, Janaki, and Anitha, leaving Kencha overwhelmed by grief and rage. Enraged and determined, Kencha mobilizes his loyal friends to exact revenge, starting with a raid on Munna Bhai’s liquor factory, where he is stabbed by Munna Bhai and SI Karunakar, and left to drift in a lake.
With the help of Gilli, Prakash, Raju, and Priya, Kencha is found and treated at Arya Vaidya Sala, emerging with a renewed resolve to dismantle the terror that Munna Bhai represents. He and his allies embark on a calculated campaign to wipe out Munna Bhai’s gang, killing Karunakar and Krishnappa, events that are witnessed by the city’s police commissioner and signal a turning point in the fight against the gang’s hold over the area. The assault culminates at Munna Bhai’s liquor factory, where a brutal confrontation leads to Munna Bhai’s death at Kencha’s hands, effectively ending the gangster’s reign of terror and vengeance for his family.
Kencha ultimately surrenders to the commissioner, though he is not arrested, because he had killed only gangsters. In the aftermath, he and his friends form a vigilant group dedicated to punishing criminals and protecting their community, suggesting a new form of local justice born from pain, resilience, and a stubborn desire to reclaim Kalasipalya from fear.
