Bushara, Bachu's married sister, stays at home due to marital issues. She secretly gives her necklace to her friend Vijeesh to pawn during an emergency. The plan backfires as the lockdown looms, making the incident a potential COVID exposure matter.

When lockdown starts, the necklace incident erupts into a bigger issue. Authorities track Vijeesh's movements as they probe possible contamination. The tension at home grows as everyone waits for the outcome.

Rashid arrives with mosque elders to reconcile, but Bushara demands an apology for being questioned. He storms off, leaving the house tense and unresolved. The episode underscores fractures in the family during the crisis.

Kamar, calling from Qatar, urges Bachu to reconcile with Bushara. Bachu resents the pressure and avoids talking to his father. The gulf call heightens the rift between generations.

With COVID-19 cases surging, body transport for Kamar's remains halts. Bachu fights to bring the body back and arrange cremation according to religious customs. Clearance is granted, but a five-person limit and PPE rules complicate access; the mother and Bachu perform the last rites with care.

Seven months after the death, Bachu and Baanu are together, raising her child. They pass a massive election rally, and Bachu smirks at the irony of protocol restrictions.
