In New Delhi, terrorists attempt to kill Prime Minister Chandrakanth Varma. Security services mount NSG operations to thwart the attack, saving the PM and driving him to his office. The assault results in the death of the Minister for Communications, Vasudev, and introduces Anjali as Varma’s junior secretary.

The SPG enlists Kathir, a Secret Service informant and organic farmer, to help guard the Prime Minister during his London visit after a captured terrorist reveals a new assassination plot. Kathir accepts the dangerous assignment and prepares for deployments beyond India.

During the visit in London, Kathir tracks down the would-be assassin and shoots him, thwarting the immediate threat to Varma. The act validates the SPG’s decision to recruit Kathir for the mission.

Anjali, Varma’s junior secretary, mistakes Kathir for the assassin and tries to shadow him. Kathir outsmarts her by getting her drunk and slipping away, causing confusion and a risk of exposure.

Varma returns to India and learns that Pakistani forces killed Indian soldiers in Kashmir. In parallel, Rajan Mahadev meets Varma to discuss retaliation strategies against those responsible for the attacks.

Joseph receives a death threat during his wedding anniversary. A sniper kills his pet cat, spurring Kathir and Joseph to pursue the killer, who fatally eliminates the sniper with a small bomb blast and escapes.

Varma travels to Kashmir to address the public, but a mysterious caller jams SPG communications and signals a bomb on the stage. Kathir locates and defuses the stage device, but the caller detonates a second bomb in Varma’s car, killing him.

In the wake of Varma’s death, Varma’s advisor selects his son Abhi as the next Prime Minister to avoid a political split.

Kathir is suspended for failing to protect the PM. He uncovers evidence linking his friend Ranjith, a disgraced double agent, to the killer and begins to suspect a larger conspiracy.

Farmers in Thanjavur protest mining projects that threaten crops. Abhishek plans to shut the mines, but Mahadev resists. During Anjali’s birthday outing, an assassination attempt injures her and Joseph dies trying to shield Abhishek.

During the post-mortem, Kathir discovers Officer Prem is a double agent who collaborated with Ranjith and was involved in Joseph’s death. Prem’s betrayal deepens the conspiracy.

Male caelifera locusts infest Thanjavur’s fields, a planned act by Mahadev to force farmers off their land. Ranjith and Prem operate as his puppets in this wider plot.

At a press conference, Abhishek and Mahadev pretend to agree to shut down the mines, while Mahadev secretly plans to release locusts to devastate crops and secure his mining ambitions.

Kathir learns of a train carrying locusts and destroys it, ending the immediate threat. Ranjith infiltrates the control room to kill Abhishek on Mahadev’s orders. Kathir exposes a bomb hidden in Anjali’s plaster cast, retrieves it, and defuses the danger, but Ranjith and Mahadev escape in Mahadev’s car and detonate a final bomb, killing both.

In the aftermath, Kathir and Anjali share a quiet, romantic moment in his hometown, signaling a hopeful ending after the tumultuous events.
