In response to the 26/11 attacks in India, a temporary task force is formed to hunt down terrorists planning to strike again. This unit is headed by Feroz Ali Khan and anchored by Ajay Singh Rajput, with a mission to locate and eliminate the looming threat to the country. The narrative follows a high-stakes blend of international pursuit, undercover operations, and relentless interrogation as the team follows a dangerous web of leads that span multiple countries.

During a tense rescue operation in Turkey, Jamaal—a former ally turned traitor—is captured by Ajay. Faced with the survival of his own family, Ajay leverages the information coaxed from Jamaal about a looming bomb attack in a Delhi shopping mall, and with crucial help from Jai Singh Rathod, the team prevents the explosion in what feels like a narrow victory against a broader, unseen menace. Jamaal, taunting Ajay with the enormity of future plans, ultimately takes his own life, underscoring the depth and reach of the threat they face.

Across the border, a Pakistan-based mastermind named Maulana Mohammed Abdul Rehman stirs trouble near the India-Pakistan frontier. He orchestrates an escape plan for Bilal Khan, a dangerous terrorist imprisoned in Mumbai. Bilal assigns another operative, Javed Ali Khan, who arrives in Mumbai via Dubai, kicking off a deadly chase that soon claims the lives of nearly the entire team during a brutal raid on Javed’s hideout, when Javed triggers a suicide blast. Only Ajay remains to piece together the next thread of the plot.

The investigation then centers on a Nepal-based logistics node: a man named Wasim Sheikh, living under the alias Abdul Haq, becomes the crucial link. Ajay and Shabana Khan travel to Nepal pretending to be a married couple, hoping Wasim will reveal the bigger network. When Wasim recognizes Shabana as a covert operative, a desperate struggle ensues, but Shabana subdues him and brings him back to India. Under duress, Wasim discloses that Bilal has moved his operations to Al-Dera in Saudi Arabia and plans to travel to Karachi to execute a broad set of attacks.

With this new lead, Feroz dispatches Ajay, Jai Singh Rathod and their hacker ally Omprakash Shukla to Al-Dera to meet their trusted deep asset, Ashfaque Qazi. In Al-Dera, Bilal is found holding meetings to coordinate the funding and execution of the attacks. The team, aided by Shukla’s technical prowess, infiltrates Bilal’s suite, witnesses his death, and, in a tense ruse, captures Maulana by presenting him as Ashfaq’s sick uncle who needs to visit India for a liver transplant. They secure a visa and bring Maulana back under tight surveillance, only for the hotel to stumble upon Bilal’s corpse, triggering a fresh wave of scrutiny led by Police Chief Hani Mohammad.

As the operation unfolds, Maulana regains consciousness and launches a brutal assault on Ajay, who manages to subdue him. The team boards a flight, but [Hani Mohammad] and the authorities intervene to stop the plane. Yet a newspaper report revealing that Maulana and Bilal are wanted internationally—along with the team’s ongoing covert status—signals a shift: the authorities choose to let the flight take off, allowing the mission to run its course. A voice-over by Feroz later reveals the unsettling truth behind the capture and interrogation, mentioning that after six weeks of relentless questioning, Maulana was handed over to the Indian Army and eliminated in Srinagar, the operation ultimately validating the temporary task force’s work and leading to the unit’s permanent status.

The story closes with the teamheartedly celebrating a hard-won victory, their success framed as a catalyst for institutional change within India’s security apparatus. The film threads together a globe-trotting pursuit, intense interrogations, and high-stakes operations to present a portrait of counterterrorism that is persistent, methodical, and relentless in its pursuit of preventing attacks on Indian soil.
