During a human chain formed by the local political party, Pattar hands Athira a fully charged mobile phone battery as per Rajesh's instructions. The battery becomes a symbolic aid for communication during the wedding preparations. The moment ties the political theatre to the couple's escape plan.

Akhil approaches his mother for money for the wedding, and she arranges funds through a bid. This financial support enables them to move forward with the wedding plans. The family involvement adds pressure to the looming ceremony.

A strike led by Athira's elder brother Arjun targets the BSNL office and turns violent, prompting the party to declare a 24-hour hartal. The disruption heightens tension around the wedding preparations and test the group's resolve. The political atmosphere complicates every step of their plan.

The next day, Akhil and Athira are married in a temple in Taliparamba with Rajesh's help guiding the logistics. Akhil's father advises him to stay away for a few days as the family processes the situation. The clandestine wedding becomes a public test of their commitment.

Satish confirms that Athira will turn 18 in five days, meaning she would become an adult soon. This timing complicates the legal strategy and the interpretation of the marriage's validity. The court contemplates how the 18th birthday affects the case.
