Johnny English Reborn

Eight years after his previous adventures, Johnny English is seen honing his martial arts skills in the serene landscapes of Tibet. This period of training is an attempt to atone for his past failure during a critical mission in Mozambique that still haunts him.

Johnny's peaceful training is abruptly interrupted when MI7 reaches out to him, signaling that his services are needed again. A mysterious informant has insisted on communicating solely with him, indicating the urgency of the situation.

Upon returning to MI7, Johnny meets his new superior, known as Pegasus, who assigns him a critical mission. He is tasked with thwarting an assassination plot against the Chinese Premier, which is to take place during high-stakes negotiations with the Prime Minister.

Johnny's investigation takes him to Hong Kong, where he finally meets ex-CIA agent Titus Fisher. Fisher reveals the existence of a notorious group of assassins called 'Vortex' and hands over a crucial metal key before being fatally attacked by a disguised assassin.

Following the betrayal of Fisher and the loss of the key, Johnny faces an ambush while boarding a flight to the USA. This incident becomes a significant embarrassment for him and complicates his mission as Vortex gains the key.

In a tense moment, Johnny mistakenly attacks Pegasus's mother, believing her to be the assassin after tensions rise. This blunder leads to a confrontation with Pegasus, straining their working relationship even further.

As MI7's behavioral psychologist, Kate Sumner, urges Johnny to identify the second Vortex operative, he finds himself in a golf match against Russian double agent Karlenko. The match takes a deadly turn when Karlenko reveals crucial information about Vortex before suffering life-threatening injuries.

While MI7 prepares for discussions between Britain and China, Johnny expresses his suspicions of a mole within their ranks to Simon Ambrose. The dynamic shifts dramatically as Ambrose tries to eliminate Johnny, realizing he knows too much.

After a narrow escape, Johnny becomes aware of a sinister mind-control drug that Vortex intends to use. This revelation comes while he seeks refuge at Kate's home, highlighting the grave danger the Chinese Premier is in.

In a tense sequence, Johnny inadvertently ingests the mind-control drug meant to manipulate Pegasus. Under the control of Ambrose, he finds himself ordered to assassinate the Premier using a lipstick-shaped weapon, leading to chaotic and unintended actions.

In a heart-stopping twist, Johnny appears lifeless due to the drug's effects, but Kate brings him back to consciousness with a kiss. This pivotal moment reignites Johnny's spirit, driving him to pursue Ambrose and stop the assassination.

The climax unfolds as Johnny parachutes into an explosive confrontation with Ambrose within a gondola lift. Demonstrating quick wit and agility, he manages to sever the gondola cables, leading to a spectacular downfall of Ambrose's plans.

In a crowning moment of triumph, Johnny is knighted for his bravery but hilariously misidentifies a cleaning woman as the Queen. This comical error leads to a chaotic chase, ultimately revealing the real Queen in a humorous twist.

In a delightful post-credits scene, Johnny is found preparing a takeaway for Kate while humorously reenacting a viral cooking moment. Set to the whimsical tune of 'In the Hall of the Mountain King,' it humorously pays homage to classic cinema.
