News of the murder sends tremors through the underworld, and a rival gang bailed Madesha out of jail to recruit him as their associate. Madesha declines their offer, choosing not to align with the gang’s world. His refusal marks a precarious path that intertwines his fate with his mother and the city’s violence.

A determined trainee journalist, Nivedhitha, becomes obsessed with uncovering Madesha’s story. She tails him for days, struggling to secure an interview and failing to meet him. Her pursuit will later intersect with Bhagyakka’s plight and reveal deeper connections.

An elderly woman named Bhagyakka arrives from a remote village, desperately searching for her lost son. She meets Nivedhitha at the newspaper office and shares her sorrowful tale, pleading for help to locate her child. Nivedhitha promises to assist, not realizing the emotional link to Madesha.

The story flashes back to Singanallur near the Male Mahadeshwara Temple, where Madesha grows up with his father, who earns the family’s livelihood as a Jogi. When his father falls ill and dies, Madesha and his mother are left to cope with poverty and loss. A childhood friend later inflames his dreams of city life.

Enticed by his childhood friend's tales of success, Madesha decides to try his luck in the city. He hopes to earn money and perhaps reunite with his mother, who remains a driving force in his mind. The urban landscape thus becomes the arena where his fate begins to unfold.

Upon arriving in the city, Madesha is falsely implicated by the police in a murder. The owner of the tea stall where he works intervenes, secures his release, and offers him a job. This act of mercy binds him to the tea stall and to the city’s dark undercurrents.

One day, Madesha is asked to deliver tea to a meeting of gangsters. During the exchange, he drops bangles that belong to his mother, triggering suspicion and tension. He ends up fighting the gang and uses a sickle to kill the don during the meeting, a moment that cements his entry into the underworld.

Despite feeling hollow about finding him, Bhagyakka seeks help from Madesha’s childhood friend, who claims he can guide her to Madesha at a local Mahadeshwara temple. The plan points toward a convergence of the mother’s quest and Madesha’s past. Nivedhitha continues to thread the connection from the journalist’s side.

Nivedhitha gradually uncovers that Jogi and Madesha are one and the same. Realizing the link to Bhagyakka, she attempts to tell him that his mother is nearby. The revelation heightens the tension as present-day events push toward a personal reckoning.

Jogi and his gang plan to strike a rival faction, moving out in the pouring rain. In the chaos, Bhagyakka is caught in the downpour and dies, a cruel twist that deepens Jogi’s sense of duty and guilt. The tragedy underscores the cost of his earthbound loyalties.

The next day, Bhagyakka’s funeral is arranged by Jogi’s friend, but he ends up performing the rites for a body he believes is unclaimed. Only later does he realize he has conducted his own mother’s last rites, shattering him emotionally. The revelation reframes his entire journey as a cycle born from his mother’s absence.

The gang is decimated, and the remaining members drop their arms in a silent surrender. They question their own loyalties, admitting the futility of their violence. The film closes with the title a feel that never ends, highlighting the enduring bond between a mother and her son.
