Joggers Park

The film opens at a Rotary Club function honoring a retired judge, Justice J.P. Chatterjee. He has served the profession with honor and spotless integrity, and as he nears retirement, he senses a void awaiting him beyond the bench. Retirement proves to be a difficult adjustment. The younger generation feels bolder and faster, and the judge’s stump speech about a time-tested legal path occasionally lands with a hollow note. Tariq had intercepted the compromising photos just in time to prevent their publication; now he returns the evidence to Jenny’s daughter, triggering a confrontation that tests the family’s honor and forces the judge to end the affair.

Several years pass, and fate brings the two back together at an airport. Jenny has moved on, now married with a child, yet the memory of their connection remains vivid. They greet each other warmly, and she introduces him to her husband—a quiet reminder of how their paths diverged and yet how their lives remained entwined by what they shared. The film closes on a note of reflective warmth, leaving the judge to contemplate the limits and duties of law, love, and the ties that bind families.
