Sweety, Rakul Preet Singh, a college student, crosses paths with Gagan Bellamkonda Srinivas when he bravely defends her friend from harassment by Vikram Verma, the son of the powerful Central Minister Jegannath Verma. This incident triggers a chain of events that pulls Sweety into the rough, affectionate orbit of Gagan’s unconventional but close-knit family.
Gagan lives with his father Chakravarthy R. Sarathkumar and his brother Pruthvi Sravan Raghavendra. Their carefree lifestyle—full of street food, late nights, and a certain rough-edged camaraderie—begins to shift when Sweety becomes part of their world. Sweety’s influence sparks small but meaningful changes, and even Chakravarthy starts to see a path toward something better. As the bond deepens, Sweety learns about Pruthvi’s own love struggles, and the family begins to rally around him in a quiet, supportive way. Witnessing the happiness she brings, Chakravarthy encourages Gagan to stand by her side, come what may.
Parallel to these personal dramas, corporate tycoon Ashwith Narayana Varma Jagapati Babu, driven by prestige, hatches a plan that centers on his daughter’s forbidden romance. The narrative widens to Arjun Pawar Tarun Arora and his brothers, who threaten Narayana’s empire and force the two worlds to collide. Into this maelstrom steps Narayana’s sister Vani Viswanath, whose alliance with Arjun adds another layer of intrigue to the power struggle.
Sweety and Gagan’s romance blossoms, but trouble erupts when Sweety’s father, JP Jayaprakash, disapproves of Gagan’s lifestyle and Chakravarthy’s reputation. A desperate attempt by Gagan to win JP’s blessing escalates into a violent confrontation, pushing Sweety to shield her father even at great personal risk and threatening their relationship.
Heartbreak deepens when a life-threatening accident forces Gagan into an exile to Vizag for safety. There he meets Falguni Pragya Jaiswal, his father’s carefree cousin, whose presence offers a contrasting freedom to Sweety’s world. Fate then drives him to a beach party, where he intervenes during an attack on Narayana’s family by Arjun’s brother. Gagan defeats Arjun’s henchmen and saves Sweety’s life, but a gunshot leaves him gravely wounded—miraculously, Narayana’s aid helps him survive.
From the shadows rises a grim revelation: Narayana plans a forced marriage between Sweety and his son, Veerendra Shashank. The wedding is abruptly shadowed by tragedy when Veerendra is killed by Arjun’s men, and Sweety is taken captive once more. In a bid to protect her, JP is compelled to release Sweety, leaving her widowed and untethered.
Gagan’s resolve hardens as he uncovers a hidden deal between Narayana’s sister and Arjun, a betrayal that fuels the crescendo of danger. As Narayana’s family performs a ritual along the Hamsala Devi river, they’re ambushed by Arjun’s forces. In a furious, high-stakes rescue, Gagan, Chakravarthy, and Pruthvi fight to free Sweety and wipe out the immediate threat. Narayana’s standing suffers, and the plot takes a darker turn as Narayana aligns with Arjun, aided by a Central Minister Suman Talwar, to extinguish Gagan once and for all.
In a climactic sequence, Chakravarthy and Pruthvi are gravely injured at a party, and Sweety is abducted again. Gagan learns of the kidnapping, faces Arjun and Narayana’s men, and fights his way to victory. The final confrontation forces Narayana to reckon with the cost of his alliance with Arjun, resulting in Narayana’s tragic demise and the defeat of Arjun. With the dust settling, Gagan and Sweety are finally reunited, their arduous journey drawing to a close, but not without leaving the memory of the battles they endured. In the end, love and loyalty withstand the violence of power, sealing a hard-won happiness for the couple.
