Sathyam [Mohanlal], a kind-hearted mechanic, leads a simple life with his family in Visakhapatnam. When his brother Shiva encourages him to expand, he opens a large auto repair shop named Janatha Garage in Hyderabad, turning it into a beacon for the underprivileged who seek justice. A brutal road accident changes everything: a poor man, a friend of Sathyam, loses his college-going daughter, and the investigation reveals she was sexually assaulted and killed by a group of goons with powerful connections.
