At a roadside eatery, his meal is knocked aside by troublemakers who turn out to be Ram Subba Reddy’s men. He confronts them, then learns of a local man named Somulu who is aligned with his elder brother, Ranatunga, and receives a warning about crossing him. The passenger ultimately asserts his authority, demanding an apology, but his interest shifts when he spots a hidden police car and the battered female officers who had been molested and imprisoned. He frees them and dismantles Ranatunga’s henchmen in a visceral pursuit through a desolate village, during which Constable Divi, Divi Vadthya, is fatally stabbed.
