The legend tells of Jwala Prasad, a tormented soul whose fury is said to awaken whenever a bride approaches the sacred precinct, casting a shadow that can possess the living and turn the celebration into a night of dread.

Presiding over the village is the dignified Thakur Saab, a man whose calm exterior masks the growing anxiety within his household. His only son, Shera, is a charismatic yet reckless figure whose daring exploits often clash with the more measured world his father inhabits.
