In the early 90s, a young Natalie is filled with excitement while watching *Pretty Woman*. However, her enthusiasm is quickly crushed by her mother’s harsh words about the unrealistic happy endings for women like them, leaving Natalie disillusioned.

Fast forward 25 years, Natalie is now an architect in New York City. Unfortunately, she finds herself labeled as the ‘coffee bitch’ by her colleagues, struggling to assert herself in a competitive workplace.

Natalie's life takes a turn when her team secures a meeting with the handsome billionaire Blake. She inadvertently causes a mix-up with his coffee order, leading to further embarrassment and solidifying her reputation at work.

While commuting, Natalie overhears Whitney crying while watching *The Wedding Singer*. This prompts her to launch into a cynical rant about the unrealistic portrayals of romance in romantic comedies, highlighting her closed-off nature.
