Having recently been laid off and provided with a ticket to the U.S. as part of his severance package, Roni (Alon Aboutboul) seizes the moment to track down his long-lost love, Rachel (Suzanne Sadler), just days before her 60th birthday. His journey begins with a visit to his brother, an auto leasing agent, who lends him a car to facilitate his search.

However, the adventure takes an unexpected turn when the vehicle breaks down. Enter Myla (Naruna Kaplan de Macedo), an auto mechanic turned filmmaker, who offers her expertise in exchange for Roni’s participation in her documentary about personal regrets. Together, they embark on a road trip in Myla’s van, united by this unconventional pact.

Along their route, they encounter a series of misadventures, including a comically unfortunate robbery at a motel, which necessitates a change into western-themed attire for the remainder of their trip.
