Interestingly, unlike our current digital age, the artist predominantly captured her subjects with a Rolleiflex camera, with a single roll of 120 film yielding just 12 images.

Alongside the photographs, John uncovers receipts, notes, and just enough information to pursue the identity of this extraordinary, elusive woman.
