Indrudu Chandrudu

Rayudu, a corrupt mayor, takes a bribe and uses his power to push a rich businessman’s project by selling a crowded market. With Tripathi's help, he pressures the poor vendors to move out and uses threats to enforce compliance. This marks the start of a city-wide web of illegal deals.

Journalist Sandhya begins investigating Rayudu's corruption. To stop her, Rayudu and his henchmen go to Sandhya's place to destroy the evidence. Sandhya reveals to Rayudu that his mistress and Tripathi are married and have been cheating him for a long time.

Enraged by the affair revelation, Rayudu tracks Tripathi to his house and discovers a stash of diamonds hidden there. He takes the diamonds as leverage and a symbol of his power. This marks a turning point, accelerating his plan to expose the illegal network.

Back at home, Rayudu experiences a change of heart and spends time with his youngest daughter who is sick. He decides to reveal the crimes and uses the diamonds as a bargaining chip for his family’s future. He even gifts the diamonds to his daughter, who hides one inside a toy.

Before he can act on his plan, Tripathi murders Rayudu in a fit of rage and places the body in cold storage. The murder triggers a scramble among allies who fear exposure. Tripathi realizes a missing body would threaten their entire operation.

Tripathi spots Rayudu's younger lookalike Chandram in a mental institution and realizes he can use him as a stand-in. He and others blackmail Chandram into impersonating Rayudu for a major deal, promising freedom if successful. Chandram studies Rayudu's speech, mannerisms, and appearance to become a convincing double.

Chandram undergoes a heavy makeover, adopting Rayudu's signature voice and gestures. He trains with prosthetics and makeup to perfect the deception. The plan hinges on maintaining Rayudu's public image long enough to close a critical deal.

Sandhya continues to chase the truth, and Tripathi sends goons to silence her. Chandram witnesses these threats and intervenes, saving Sandhya from danger. The ruse nearly unravels as the disguise begins to falter.

Gradually, Sandhya and Chandram grow close as they work together, sharing the goal of stopping Tripathi and Vallabha Rao. They go on the run from corrupt cops and the businessmen's network, trying to dodge detection. Their bond deepens into a budding romance.

Chandram explains that he was once a singer and dancer who was framed for a dancer's murder after Vallabha Rao attempted to rape her partner. Vallabha Rao uses his influence to pin the crime on Chandram, who is found guilty and committed to a mental institution. To escape punishment, Chandram fakes mental retardation and schemes from inside.

With new resolve, Chandram and Sandhya vow to stop Tripathi and Vallabha Rao, building a plan to expose the corruption publicly. They gather evidence and allies, preparing for a decisive confrontation. The stakes rise as they edge closer to the public eye.

Chandram returns to the crowded market to promise restitution and expose the illegal activities in a public gathering. Tripathi, realizing the risk, kidnaps Chandram's mother to use as leverage against him. Chandram must balance love and loyalty with the ongoing mission.

On the eve of the public meeting, Chandram impersonates Rayudu and spends time with his children, trying to keep appearances intact. He accidentally discovers the diamonds and leaves clues that will lead the kids to them later. This moment foreshadows a clever, human-centered plan.

On the day of the meeting, Chandram, in Rayudu's clothes, works the crowd while Tripathi watches closely. He locates his mother and rescues her using help from Sandhya and a minister's car, returning to the venue as chaos erupts. A corrupt politician is killed in the mêlée, underscoring the dangerous stakes of the exposure. Chandram uses the moment to reveal the hidden crimes to the city without Tripathi knowing the full extent.

Chandram unfolds the evidence at the press conference and is shot by an unknown assailant. He appears to die, but the ambulance scene reveals the ruse: Sandhya's father, the hidden assassin, drives the ambulance and Rayudu's body lies inside. The vehicle is driven into a power grid and explodes, making it seem Rayudu was killed by Tripathi. Chandram and Sandhya escape to start a new life together.
