Mayaandi, Mansoor Ali Khan a notorious convict, orchestrates a daring prison escape with the aid of the prison staff, setting in motion a ruthless plan to brutally murder Rudhra’s entire family and leave her an orphan.
Rudhra, Gautami Tadimalla discovers that her father, Gopal, a police officer, was instrumental in Mayaandi’s imprisonment, a revelation that adds a deeply personal motive to the tragedy and pulls her into a dangerous web of power and corruption. She reports the crime to the police, but they are unable to act against Mayaandi, who has somehow returned to prison after the murders to establish a dubious alibi.
Rudhra then receives a letter from her late father detailing his investigations into Mayaandi’s ties with corrupt police officers and politicians, a clue that widens the conspiracy far beyond a single crime. In the midst of this, she finds a video cassette containing incriminating evidence and hands it to the DSP Lalitha, Lakshmi, only to discover that she is complicit in the broader conspiracy.
The conspirators, realizing that the cassette Rudhra seized isn’t the one they fear, close in on her, but Lalitha rescues her after receiving an anonymous tip. Rudhra sits down with Lalitha to tell her story, though Lalitha remains unaware of the exact location of the original tape. The very next day, as Rudhra is being transported to court, she makes an audacious escape from the police. With no other option, DSP Lalitha is forced to confront Rudhra in a dramatic turn of events. It’s then revealed that Lalitha had allied with Rudhra and had staged the fake encounter to shield her from the world.
Because the police department feels unsafe, Lalitha disguises Rudhra as a boy and entrusts her to Madurai, a thief renowned for his intelligence. Lalitha explains Madurai’s extraordinary abilities, citing a daylight bank robbery he once pulled off and his ability to vanish from the police gaze. Intriguingly, Madurai uses the stolen funds to support orphans, disabled children, and other underprivileged people in need of medical care, which earns Rudhra a growing trust and a lot of sympathy for him.
As Rudhra’s feelings for Madurai deepen, he initially hesitates but eventually agrees to help Lalitha uncover the conspiracy. Madurai soon discovers Rudhra’s true identity, while the conspirators stay wary and dispatch their men to tail the pair. The timely intervention of Madurai, Lalitha, and Rudhra keeps them out of danger and buys them time to plan.
Guided by a sense of justice, Madurai devises a plan to bring the conspirators to justice. He quietly starts contacting police officers and narrows the list to DCP Sundararajan and ACP Mohan as the principal culprits behind the murder and the broader conspiracy. Unbeknownst to them, Madurai pretends to possess the incriminating cassette and offers it in exchange for money, successfully drawing Sundararajan and Mohan into a dangerous confession that he then records in secret as leverage.
Mayaandi, however, reveals that he possesses the real cassette, exposing Madurai’s ruse. A brutal confrontation follows as Mayaandi captures Madurai, Lalitha, and Rudhra. To escape, Madurai stages a bold diversion, claiming that a duplicate copy of the cassette is stored in a bank locker belonging to a central minister. This audacious move leads to the arrest of Sundararajan and Mohan.
In a fierce hand-to-hand battle, Madurai, Lalitha, and Rudhra fight Mayaandi and his henchmen. Madurai delivers a decisive shot that fells Mayandi and cleverly makes it look like Lalitha fired in self-defense. Before the police can intervene, Madurai and Rudhra escape into the night, leaving the truth and the twists of the plot still vibrating in the air.
