House of Fears

A man and a woman arrive at a remote dig site in Africa. The man enters a cave and discovers the workers brutally murdered, setting a grim tone for what follows. The woman discovers a mysterious monkey statue and flees with it.

In Salem, Oregon, security guard Hamadi arrives at The House of Fears and finds a box containing the monkey statue. He senses danger but is attacked by his guard dog before he can leave, hinting at the statue's ominous power.

Samantha has recently moved in with her step-sister Hailey after their mother remarried. Their friction grows as Hailey is caught sneaking out to a party and is forced to take Samantha along.

Hailey and her group sneak into the haunted house to get a preview before it opens. Samantha accompanies them, tagging along for the night.

Zane flicks on the power and the house comes alive with its eerie atmosphere. The group tries to contact Hamadi on the radio but cannot reach him, isolating the adults from their safety net.

Devon and Candice discover the monkey statue, but Zane warns them to leave it in the box. He then shifts his scheming to break up Devon and Candice by swapping dates with Carter.

Zane sneaks off in a miner's suit to jump out and scare the others. The statue-powered mannequin comes alive and stabs him to death, removing a rival in the group’s dynamics.

In the mummy tomb, a faulty prop cuts Candice's arm and the group hears Zane's dying screams as they realize someone else is in the house. Candice becomes separated and later dies in the mummy tomb when the doors close and mummified hands pull her under.

The survivors reach the front door only to find the key won't work and the office phone is missing. They study a map showing an exit on the other side of the building and gather weapons to make the treacherous trek.

The group makes their way toward the Insane Asylum section and finds a terrified Hamadi begging for help. He warns that the monkey statue will bring their fears to life, and Samantha recalls the statue they found earlier.

A scarecrow attack forces the group to regroup. Carter defies the danger and fights the scarecrow, but is electrocuted to death as the others flee the scene.

The survivors enter the clown section and later confront the grave-keeper, who drags Hailey away and locks her in a coffin. Samantha and Devon attempt a rescue amid the chaos.

The eerie clown stalks Devon and drags him off to his death. Samantha and Hailey press on, seeking safety as the house twists around them.

Samantha defeats the grave-keeper and frees Hailey. The scarecrow reappears; they slice off one of its arms with a circular saw, but the tool breaks. In a last act, Samantha shatters the statue to kill the scarecrow, and the girls manage to escape.

Outside The House of Fears, the monkey statue shakes ominously, hinting that it will reassemble and continue to threaten those who trespass the house.
