Hounds

Dib, a dog-fighting kingpin, orders Hassan to kidnap one of the rival gang's middlemen. Hassan agrees, drawn by the rewards and the chance to improve his family's lot. The plan is set in motion with careful but anxious preparation.

Hassan brings his reluctant son Issam on the mission. Issam is skeptical and notices the bad omen of their red van. He worries about the consequences if things go wrong.

During the abduction, the target suffocates in the car trunk. The trio realizes the gravity of what they've done and the immediate danger. They hurry to get rid of the evidence before the target's associates realize he's missing.

They drive to the countryside and attempt to hide the body in a shallow, rock-filled well. The effort is grim and draining as the body is heavy and the night is tense. They hope the earth will swallow the crime, but fear bites at them.

When the well fails to provide safety, they try digging a hole in the countryside to bury the body. The exhausting work tests their nerves as distant noises haunt them. Issam insists both main options are flawed, but they push on anyway.

An old acquaintance of Dib, who once did similar jobs, rejects them and has since left crime life. His rejection adds pressure and shows that Dib's network is shrinking. The men realize they can't rely on past allies.

Back in the city, they recruit a drunken fisherman to dump the body in the ocean. The fisherman staggers toward the water but falls in himself, leaving them with the corpse and a deeper dread. They scramble to salvage what they can and cover their tracks.

Hassan, haunted by visions of the dead, insists on performing the Islamic wash and wrapping the body in a shroud before disposal. The ritual gives him a fragile sense of control amid the guilt. His insistence marks a turning point in how the group treats the crime.

Hassan's disapproving mother confronts them and surprisingly helps wash the body. Her presence injects a moral pressure that deepens guilt for Hassan and Issam. The family connection complicates their plans and shows the reach of their actions.

Issam tries to find another ally to discard the body, but the plan collapses and he ends up trapped in a warehouse with rival gang members. Tension rises as the authorities and enemies close in. Hassan informs Dib, triggering a new rescue attempt.

Dib gathers a gang of henchmen to rescue Issam and confronts an acquaintance with a large industrial oven and demands the body be cut up. Hassan refuses to participate, and Dib reluctantly pays someone else to do the grisly job. The plan to dispose of the body moves into a brutal, final phase.

The disposal is completed when the body is burned and dumped in the trash. The act leaves the trio with a hollow, unsettled relief that quickly gives way to guilt. They walk away into a grim landscape, haunted by what they did.

The next morning, Hassan and Issam are seen walking home, their nerves frayed and spirits darkened by the crime. A dog is later seen with a charred human arm in a wasteland full of garbage, a stark image of the violence they've unleashed.
