Back in California, Mavis discovers that Johnny's family has furnished their guest room with a coffin. This revelation further complicates her desire to raise Dennis in a traditional environment.

In an attempt to teach Dennis to fly, Dracula stages a reckless stunt by throwing him off a tower. At the last moment, he must dive to save Dennis, which culminates in chaos and reveals the dangers of his plans.

Amidst the chaos, Mavis realizes Dennis is missing, prompting a frantic search. In the face of danger, Dennis unexpectedly unlocks his supernatural abilities, showcasing his true potential.

In a climactic showdown, the family must confront the demons threatening their safety. With the help of Vlad, Dracula's father, they manage to protect their family and secure their bond.

As the birthday celebrations return, Mavis decides to raise Dennis within the comforting walls of the hotel. The joyous gathering illustrates the harmonious blend of both human and monster worlds.
