Hot Frosty

Kathy Barrett runs Kathy's Kafé in downtown Hope Springs, New York. She is coping with the emotional loss of her husband, who was a handyman, and struggling to maintain her business.

During a visit to her friends Theo and Mel's clothing shop, Kathy is gifted a red scarf that they say is 'destined' for her. This gesture encourages her to start seeking happiness after the loss of her husband.

On her way home, Kathy stumbles upon a snowman sculpture competition. She places the red scarf on a muscular snowman and takes a picture, unknowingly setting the stage for the events to unfold.

That night, the snowman, now named Jack, magically comes to life. He inadvertently crashes into the clothing shop while escaping from an elderly couple and their dogs, leading to chaotic but amusing events.

The next morning, Kathy discovers Jack talking to other snowmen. She invites him into her diner for a meal and learns about his first memory, which is tied to her placing the scarf on him.

The sheriff arrives to investigate the break-in at the clothing shop, determined to find out who is responsible. The situation grows tense as Jack must remain discreet while Kathy navigates the investigation.

That evening, Jack surprises Kathy by making homemade pizza using skills he picked up from a cooking show. Kathy feels both charmed and overwhelmed by Jack's affectionate behavior toward her.

Jack helps Kathy's neighbor push her car out of a snowbank. This leads to town residents recruiting him for various handyman tasks, including assisting a middle school principal with a holiday dance.

Inspired by a student invitation, Jack asks Kathy to be his date for the upcoming holiday dance. They enjoy a suit shopping trip together, where Jack gifts her a silver snowflake necklace.

At the dance, Kathy notices Jack overheating, prompting her to take him outside for some fresh air. As they nearly share a kiss, Jack pulls back, fearing that his melting could harm Kathy.

During a festive gathering at the diner, Sheriff Nate unexpectedly arrests Jack, much to the community's dismay. The doctor reveals Jack's true nature, and the townspeople rally in support of him.

Kathy and the townspeople collectively empty the diner's safe to pay Jack's bail but still come up short. The sheriff's son steps in to cover the remaining amount, prompting Sheriff Nate to release Jack.

After being released, Kathy finds Jack seemingly lifeless outside. In a moment of desperation, she kisses him, leading to a miraculous event where he comes back to life, fully human.

Kathy and Jack embrace their new life together, exchanging thoughtful gifts. Jack gives Kathy a home repair book, while she surprises him with plane tickets for a trip to Hawaii, solidifying their bond.

With their future ahead of them, Kathy and Jack prepare to embark on their trip to Hawaii. Their relationship flourishes as they look forward to exciting and joyful experiences together.
