Horror Story

The film opens with Vikrant Nerula entering the deserted Grandiose Hotel and climbing to Room 3046, where he commits suicide by jumping from the terrace. His death seeds a malevolent energy in the building that lingers over everything that follows.

Seven friends—Sam, Maghhesh, Achint, Neel, Nina, Sonia, and Maggie—reunite in a local pub to celebrate Neel's farewell abroad. They learn about the abandoned hotel, once a mental asylum, and rumors that its owner was driven to suicide by a ghost.

They approach the hotel and attempt to enter through the locked main doors, but the way in proves elusive and they slip in through a back door instead. Nina observes strange phenomena as the building seems to resist them. The group grows tense as the past lingers in the present.

Inside, a TV sits on with no transmission or power, sending an eerie static through the hotel. Achint and Neel hear a voice whisper 'WELCOME TO DIE' and try to dismiss it as a hallucination as they push toward Room 3046.

The group reaches Room 3046 and discovers Sam has been fatally attacked by an unseen force. Terrified, they flee the room and realize they are trapped inside the hotel with no obvious exit.

Achint and Maghhesh go to the terrace hoping to get a mobile signal, but a spirit ambushes them and Maghhesh is killed. The others are left more exposed to the supernatural danger inside the hotel.

A female apparition begins terrorizing the group, and Sonia is dragged into darkness by the unseen force. The remaining four scramble to stay ahead of the haunting as the hotel closes in around them.

With three dead, the remaining four discover an abandoned Jeep and attempt to drive out through the mist. Ghostly figures surge around them, and they wind up back at the door to Room 3046, realizing dawn is their only chance of escape.

Sonia confronts the group, and Achint and Neel realize that the resistance in front of them is really Sonia herself, not a ghost. They then learn that Maya, a possessed girl from the asylum, is the haunting force behind the events.

The group learns Maya was a possessed girl who murdered her family, claimed to have 'married the devil', and sparked the fire that killed inmates when the asylum burned. They discover Maya’s energy is anchored to a shock machine within the hotel.

Nina finds a paranormal book that explains the energy source and provides incantations to locate the spirits’ focal point. The visions reveal the past, and the group realizes their only chance to stop Maya is to burn the shock machine.

Neel and Maggie go to the kitchen to grab something flammable, but Maya’s spirit appears as Neel and kills Maggie. Achint is decapitated by the spirit, leaving Neel and Nina as the last survivors.

Neel tries to burn the shock machine, but the spirit pulls him into a closet. Nina fights the terrors and lights a fire, while the spirit of Vikrant Narula returns to aid them in destroying the machine.

As dawn breaks, the hotel doors finally open. A traumatized Nina, the sole survivor, walks out into the morning light, free from Maya's haunting.
