Hercules and Xena - The Animated Movie: The Battle for Mount Olympus

Zeus and Alcmene give birth to Hercules. As a child he defeats a Hydra and earns hero status, with locals thanking him after saving a village from a sea serpent. His lifelong partnership begins when Iolaus joins him on later adventures.

Hercules and Iolaus travel toward Thebes to see Alcmene. Along the way they fend off highwaymen, proving Hercules’ growing reputation as a protector of the innocent.

Xena and Gabrielle steal back a bag of gold from a trio of satyrs to return it to Corinth. Their action sets the stage for a fragile alliance against a greater threat looming over Hercules. The moment also highlights Xena’s willingness to bend the rules for a good cause.

Ares appears and warns that a trap awaits Hercules in Thebes. The warning foreshadows the danger Hercules will face on his journey and influences the choices of both Hercules and his companions.

Zeus descends to abduct Alcmene and take her to Mount Olympus. Hercules tries to stop the abduction but is unable to prevent it. Fueled by rage, he resolves to rescue his mother.

Hera steals the Cronus Stone, the relic that keeps the Titans imprisoned. In the ensuing chaos, she summons the Titans and they prepare to unleash their revenge. Zeus checks on Alcmene, who has been shrunk and placed in a dollhouse castle for safety.

Aphrodite surfs down a mountain to warn Hercules about Hera's schemes, but he refuses to heed the warning. The moment showcases his stubbornness even as the danger escalates.

Hera uses the Cronus Stone to trigger a massive earthquake, causing the ground to crack. A boy nearly falls into lava pits but is saved by Hercules and Iolaus. The mortal chaos mirrors the gods' brewing war.

Earth Titan Porphyrion emerges and tells Hercules to let the fight be with the gods. Water Titan Tethys, Fire Titan Mnemosyne, and Wind Titan Crius materialize, signaling the Titans' plan for revenge against Olympus.

Zeus calls Artemis, Aphrodite and Ares to join the fight against the Titans. Artemis offers a deal: if Xena helps the gods, Gabrielle will be restored from her eagle form. Xena accepts, forming a precarious alliance with the Olympians.

The Titans reach Olympus and attack. Hercules rescues Alcmene after she is returned to normal size, but he initially refuses to help the gods against the Titans, straining his relationships with the Olympians.

Hercules tears the Cronus Stone, opening the Underworld caverns. Xena defeats Crius, and Iolaus causes Tethys and Mnemosyne to collide, driving the Titans toward their doom. Gabrielle saves Hercules from a near-fatal fall and drops him on the gods' mountain in time to seal the stone and imprison the Titans in Tartarus. With the crisis over, Zeus and Alcmene return to Olympus and Hercules heads to Corinth with Iolaus, Gabrielle and Xena to seek another adventure.
