Hercules and Xena - The Animated Movie: The Battle for Mount Olympus

Long after Zeus stole the Cronus Stone from the Titans, this mighty demigod defeats a sea serpent and is warmly thanked by the locals. In a parallel thread, Xena, Lucy Lawless and Gabrielle, Renée O’Connor, recover a bag of gold from a trio of satyrs to bring it back to Corinth. The air thickens with unrest as Ares Kevin Smith appears, informing Xena that a trap awaits Hercules in Thebes. Xena, mindful of Thebes’ needs, contemplates sending Hercules, even as her bond with Gabrielle is tested by Ares’ manipulations and her own simmering anger.

On Alcmene’s farm, Zeus descends to abduct Alcmene and ferry her to Mount Olympus, despite Hercules’ desperate efforts to intervene. Artemis restores Gabrielle to her own form, and Zeus and Alcmene return to Olympus, where Zeus grants a quiet invitation for Hercules to visit.

With the balance restored, the group—Hercules, Iolaus, Gabrielle, and Xena—heads toward Corinth to settle a bag of gold and seek the next adventure, signaling a fragile peace between mortal and divine factions. On the mountain pinnacle, the combined efforts of the mortal heroes and the restored Olympians close the Cronus Stone’s rift and seal the Titans away once more, but not without leaving scars and hard-won lessons about pride, trust, and the cost of power. The voyage ends on a hopeful note: Olympus reclaims its home, the mortal realm is steadied, and the bonds between Xena, Hercules, Gabrielle, and Iolaus endure beyond the fires of conflict, ready for whatever challenges the future may hold.
