Hellfire

In XVIII century France, aristocratic composer Octave Barron begins drafting a symphony dedicated to the Devil in his manor. He revels in a satanic pact and murders, aided by his lover Carlotta, whose powers feed the process. As the music grows, the line between art and crime blurs, binding Barron to the dark covenant.

Barron's crimes are discovered by the authorities, and an enraged mob storms his mansion. He is torn apart by horses as he screams that his pact will resurrect through his music. The town's fear seals his fate and the first notes of his doom fade into history.

Several years pass and Barron's niece Gabriella inherits the estate and its secrets. She uncovers the hidden and unfinished symphony along with Barron's old piano. Skeptical of superstition, she hires Marius, a church choir director, to finish the composition and bring the music to life.

Marius arrives at the mansion to work on the score, drawn into Barron's legacy. He begins a cautious collaboration with Gabriella, hopeful of artistic triumph. The ominous air of the pact shadows every note they write.

Carlotta, now aged and secretive in her witchcraft, is contacted by Barron's spirit from Hell. He commands her to guide the living to resurrect him through Marius. She agrees, manipulating events from within the estate to serve the old master's plan.

After playing Barron's music on the piano, Marius is overtaken by the imprisoned spirit. He begins composing anew and murders two women in search of inspiration to finish the symphony. Carlotta helps him conceal the crimes and evade suspicion.

Gabriella's fiancé Julien arrives, introducing tension into the house. Carlotta poisons Julien to incite anger and jealousy, and he becomes volatile, attempting to assault Gabriella. Marius is forced to confront the danger as the situation spirals toward a fateful duel.

In a climactic duel, the possessed Marius confronts Julien and defeats him, killing him as Barron urges. The bloodshed deepens the horror surrounding the unfinished symphony. The mansion reels from the violence as Carlotta's plan edges closer to fruition.

Fearing the consequences, Carlotta takes poison and ends her life, following Barron's instructions. Her suicide marks another step in Barron's resurrection scheme and seals her complicity in the occult bargain. The family estate bears the cost of the dark pact.

Marius completes the symphony as Barron's spirit presses him forward. Gabriella falls under Carlotta's spirit as the possession shifts between them. The two conductors sense the other within their bodies as the music reaches its dark crescendo.

In the climax, Marius and Gabriella are both possessed, their reflections showing the takeover. Carlotta's spirit leaves Gabriella to descend to Hell, while Barron lingers within Marius awaiting full control. The house and its inhabitants burn with the final resistance to the pact.

Locked in confrontation with Gabriella and pursued by the mob, Marius proclaims his love and throws himself into the fireplace, burning alive to release Barron from his body. The act seems to redeem him, but the danger lingers until the end. The community's eyes watch the mansion in stunned silence.

That same night, Barron resurrects in a corpse from the grave while Gabriella realizes the destruction wasn't complete. She must destroy the symphony and Barron's piano to stop the evil. She burns both, and Barron dies again in final silence.

The next day, Gabriella closes the estate's doors and departs alone, choosing to leave behind the haunted legacy. She never returns, carrying the memory of the night into an uncertain future.
