Years later, Emma embarks on a long drive to a secluded vacation house, accompanied by Joe, her overly inquisitive driver. Despite his chatter, Emma stays quiet, focusing instead on jotting down notes in her notebook, revealing her introverted nature.

Upon arriving at the house, Emma securely locks all the doors and plays music while dancing in her revealing clothes, enjoying her solitude. However, her revelry is interrupted when she discovers a bouquet of roses at the doorstep.
