Happy gets drunk during a game, crashes a golf cart, and injures others, which leads to his arrest. Subsequently, he is fired from his job and must attend an alcohol treatment program to avoid further legal consequences. This marks a critical step in his recovery process.

Happy visits Virginia’s grave where he encounters Shooter McGavin, his old nemesis. The two get into a fight but then team up after Shooter reveals plans by Frank to manipulate Maxi Golf members with illegal procedures, setting up their alliance to fight back.

Happy, Shooter, and Slim Peterson unite to form a team of skilled golfers, including top pros like Rory McIlroy. They practice together, aiming to compete against Maxi Golf and regain respect in the sport, embracing their quirks and injuries along the way.

The film culminates in a major golf tournament where Happy and the regular team face Maxi Golf. Using their unique skills and underdog determination, they compete on elaborate courses, with Happy overcoming Frank’s sabotage to win the game.
