Rushed to the hospital, he came under the care of Dr. Daniel Challis, an accomplished yet troubled physician battling his own demons, including a rift with his ex-wife and his two children.

As fate would have it, Harry’s story took a tragic turn when he met a cruel end at the hands of another suited assailant who ignited himself in flames, leaving nothing but a spectral unease in his wake. Following the news of her father’s death, his daughter Ellie sought the support and expertise of Dr. Challis in hopes of unraveling the enigma surrounding her father’s unexpected demise. Together, they embarked on an investigation that thrust them into a landscape fraught with danger, ultimately leading them to the eerie Santa Mira, California, home to the sinister Silver Shamrock Novelties factory.

Within Santa Mira, Dr. Challis uncovered that Harry had previously lodged at a local motel, where his presence lingered in the memories of its guests. As their investigation deepened, an innocuous discovery emerged when Marge Guttman, another unsuspecting traveler, found a microchip attached to a medallion while adjusting her hair. This seemingly trivial action unleashed a deadly energy beam that gruesomely disfigured her, culminating in a horrifying scene where an insect crawled from her mouth.

The aftermath of this incident spiraled into chaos as Marge’s lifeless body was hurriedly transported in a Silver Shamrock van, with men in lab coats whispering about a “misfire” to Conal Cochran, the enigmatic owner of the factory. As Dr. Challis and Ellie probed deeper into the mystery, they became ensnared in a treacherous web of deceit and looming menace, drawing closer to the sinister forces at play in Santa Mira.

Their relentless pursuit of the truth led them to the foreboding gates of the Silver Shamrock Novelties factory, where Ellie stumbled upon her father’s forsaken vehicle, heavily guarded by a cadre of men in suits intent on preserving their secrets. When Dr. Challis and Ellie called for help, they were met with an eerie silence, as if the very essence of reality was being warped around them. Time was of the essence, and soon Ellie was captured by Cochran’s minions, with Dr. Challis following suit, ensnared by the very androids that had infiltrated the town.

In the sterile confines of his “final processing” control room, Cochran’s twisted machinations were laid bare; he intended to use fragments of Stonehenge embedded in each mask to enact a horrific ritual. As oblivious children donned the masks while mesmerized by the “Big Giveaway” commercial, the microchips sprang to life, releasing a devastating combination of brain damage and swarms of insects along with lethal snakes, ensuring no one would escape unscathed.

With death looming ominously, Dr. Challis found himself cornered, but he refused to succumb to despair. When Cochran unveiled his perverse plan to sacrifice children at the pagan festival of Samhain, marking the day of winter’s arrival, Dr. Challis summoned all his strength, breaking free from his bonds to rescue Ellie.
