A chamber orchestra struggles to survive in a dilapidated theater in Reykjavik. Facing financial ruin as their city grant expires, the group hires a celebrated cellist hoping to attract attention and funding. The publicity works, but the star cellist proves to be unpleasant, manipulative, and unfaithful. With the crucial concert that could save the orchestra rapidly approaching, the cellist dies unexpectedly just fifteen minutes before the performance. The band must now decide whether to risk everything and proceed with a concert featuring a deceased soloist, facing an unprecedented and unsettling situation.
