Powerful businessman Yasuaki Shindo commands the Lagos Garrison and confirms the creature's existence. His confirmation deepens the mystery of Godzillasaurus and its potential transformation. The soldiers brace for what this monster might become if left unchecked.

A UFO named MOTHER lands near Mount Fuji, and the Futurians reveal they hail from the year 2204. They announce a mission to travel back to 1944 to remove Godzillasaurus before the nuclear tests, hoping to prevent its mutation into Godzilla. The plan hinges on altering history to protect a future Japan.

Emmy Kano presents a copy of Terasawa's unpublished book to demonstrate their mission's legitimacy. The Futurians prepare to travel back to Lagos Island in 1944 to begin their intervention. The group steels themselves for a paradox-filled mission across time.

In 1944 Lagos Island, Japanese forces clash with American troops as Godzillasaurus is mortally wounded by the U.S. Navy. M-11 teleports the creature away to the Bering Strait, while three Dorats remain behind on Lagos Island. The island's fate is altered, and the clock of history starts ticking in a new direction.

The three Dorats on Lagos Island are irradiated by nuclear tests and mutate into King Ghidorah. The resulting dragon of destruction becomes a future threat that will shape events centuries later. This mutation ties the Lagos outbreak to the global calamity looming in the present.

In 1992, the Futurians deploy Ghidorah to subjugate Japan and issue a surrender ultimatum. The world’s political balance is threatened as the fearsome three-headed dragon prepares to reshape the nation’s future. The stakes rise as Ghidorah asserts itself on the world stage.

Emmy reveals to Terasawa the true motives behind the mission: in the 23rd century, Japan is a global economic powerhouse, and the Futurians seek to erase Godzilla to prevent him from threatening their plans. The revelation challenges loyalties and questions the value of altering history. Terasawa begins to see the moral complexity of their interference.

Shindo schemes to irradiate Godzillasaurus with a nuclear submarine in the Bering Strait. Terasawa notes that a Soviet submarine sank there in the 1970s, releasing radiation that could have already mutated the creature. The plan intensifies the race to control the monster’s fate.

Godzilla destroys Shindo's submarine and feeds on the radiation, recovering from the ANEB and growing larger. The beast rises stronger, ready to challenge Ghidorah and the human plans to erase him. The mutation proves more dangerous than anyone anticipated.

Emmy travels to the future with M-11 and helps create Mecha-King Ghidorah, a cyborg version of Ghidorah. The new weapon is designed to counter Godzilla, adding a high-tech threat to the already perilous landscape. The future's machinations now confront the present's giant monster.

The cyborg Ghidorah proves initially effective, restraining Godzilla and carrying him out of Japan. Godzilla breaks free, and the two plunge into the ocean, destroying Mecha-King Ghidorah in the process. Emmy returns to the future with M-11, revealing she is Terasawa's descendant.
