Girl Slaves of Morgana Le Fay

Two young women, Anna and Françoise, travel by car through the Auvergne countryside. They run out of gas near an odd village and end up spending the night in a barn, where they make love. The next morning, Anna is gone.

The morning after, Anna is gone. A dwarf in medieval garb guides Françoise through a forest identified as Brocéliande toward a lake. A magic canoe carries her to an island, then to a castle where scantily clad women frolic under the watch of Gurth.

Françoise arrives at Morgan le Fay's realm and is interviewed, then bathed by Morgan's women. Gurth the dwarf oversees the proceedings and reveals his role in procuring the women for Morgan.

During dinner, Morgan explains that time is under her control. She caresses and kisses Françoise while her other women wonder if they have been forgotten. Morgan offers immortality and beauty, warning that refusal would condemn the recipient to a life of abjection among older women.

Anna, bound in the castle basement, accepts Morgan's offer of immortality and beauty. This decision flags Anna's fate within Morgan's realm, while Françoise begins to escape to search for the magic boat.

Françoise escapes to look for the magic boat and swims across the lake. Morgan waits on the far side wherever she surfaces, then takes Françoise back to her castle and promises to teach her magic.

Françoise schemes with Gurth to escape, and the upcoming feast is presented as a good opportunity to gather the magic necklace and tunic for the escape plan.

Dances unfold and groups of women engage in various kinds of lovemaking. Françoise makes love to the woman who has the magic tunic and runs off with it, while the necklace is also stolen.

Françoise, now in the invisible tunic and wearing the necklace, needs Morgan's topaz globe to leave the forest. Gurth is accused and sentenced to blindness, muteness, and leglessness. He gives Françoise his 'ring of life' so she can escape; he dies instantly, and Françoise escapes the castle and boards the boat.

Gurth's horse appears and Françoise rides off to the village, arriving in time for a funeral procession. She calls out for Morgan, who appears immediately and claims her back.

Morgan takes Françoise back to the barn, where Anna is sleeping with Françoise. Françoise, now watchful, seems to take on a protective role over Anna.

The scene ends with the two women back in the barn, under Morgan's influence, as Anna sleeps and Françoise keeps vigil over her companion.
