Gingerdead Man 2: The Passion of the Crust

Kelvin Cheatum is working to save his father's studio from bankruptcy by producing cult films, including 'Hamburger Time Traveler Detective' and a sequel to the Killer Puppet franchise. The studio faces challenges from a blogger organizing boycotts against their films. Tensions escalate as production issues and external pressures threaten their operations.

During a filming session, a puppet unexpectedly explodes, causing chaos and an open brawl on set. The incident highlights the dangerous and unstable nature of the puppet productions, leading to heightened confrontations among the crew. The chaos prompts Kelvin to take control of the situation.

Tommy Hines, along with his caseworker Heather Crocker, arrives from The End of the Rainbow Last Wish Foundation. Tommy’s final wish is to tour the studio and see the famous puppets from the Tiny Terrors franchise before he dies. Their visit adds a personal dimension to the chaotic studio environment.

Polly Bonderhoof arrives with baked goods from her sister in Waco, Texas, including the Gingerdead Man puppet. The puppet slips out of the pastry box and explores the studio, discovering a spellbook that contains a transmigration spell. This sets the stage for supernatural chaos involving the puppet.

The Gingerdead Man uses a spell to transfer his soul into a human body, requiring blood sacrifices and a virgin victim to complete the ritual. The puppet begins gruesomely killing staff members, causing panic and destruction on set. Kelvin and Heather attempt to confront and stop him.

Kelvin orders the staff to evacuate as the Gingerdead Man wreaks havoc with a prop robot equipped with lasers. Kelvin and Heather pursue the puppet, leading to a confrontation that results in the destruction of the robot and a showdown with the murderous puppet. Tommy reveals his true identity as 'Demon Warrior 13'.

Tommy Hines, revealed as 'Demon Warrior 13,' plans to blow up the studio as revenge for its lack of response to his scripts. During this, the Gingerdead Man intervenes and fatally stabs Tommy as he reads an incantation. The plan shifts to using Kelvin’s body as the puppet’s new host.

The Gingerdead Man attempts to use Kelvin's body as a host, but is thwarted when the Tiny Terrors puppets come to life. They attack the puppet, hold it down, and crucify it before burning it on a cross. A rescue arrives as an actor shoots the puppets to end the chaos.

Kelvin marries Heather, and Tiny Terrors wins an award for Best Horror Hand Puppet Motion Picture. The studio appears to have survived the supernatural ordeal, but a homeless man later finds the burnt Gingerdead Man and unknowingly becomes possessed by the puppet’s spirit, suggesting a new cycle of chaos.
