Garam Masala

The film opens with two photographers Mac Deendayal Chatpatiya and Sam Salgaonkar on a photo shoot. Mac’s closeness to the models irks his fiancée, Anjali, who walks out in disgust, and their boss pushes them to deliver standout shots for the world photography competition to boost Garam Masala’s fame.

In a bid to win over the boss’s secretary, the two men set up a date with Maggie at the same restaurant and time. The trio ends up meeting there, a pickpocket steals their wallets, and after the meal the race to impress Maggie spirals into a string of comic mishaps as they try to outdo each other, with Maggie footing the bill.

Sam tracks down a renowned photographer, praising him and requesting a few extraordinary shots. Those stolen shots help Sam clinch the world photography competition. He earns a promotion, takes ten percent of the prize money, and doubles his pay, while Mac is demoted to assistant. Sam heads off to the US for a celebratory holiday, leaving Mac stranded in Mauritius.

Back at the office, the chief editor urges Mac to imitate Sam’s success by landing three women as fiancées, getting an opulent flat, and renting flashy imported cars. Following the plan, Mac secures a premium flat and gains access to three glamorous air hostesses. His driver, Babban, handles the luxury cars and daily needs for a small liquor payment, while housekeeper Mambo keeps the chaos under control by catering to his own demands.

Mac starts juggling three relationships—[Deepti], [Puja], and [Sweety]—creating a mounting mess. When Sam returns from America, he discovers the new rival life his friend is leading with three women at once and tries to help, even testing his own luck with the same trio.

The situation explodes when Anjali learns about Mac’s duplicity, turning the scenario into a bigger complication. When Mambo exits the scene, the two friends begin to realize their mistakes, and Mac makes a last-ditch attempt to win back Anjali.

In the final chaotic sequence, Mac makes a daring move to climb onto the car carrying Anjali and Sam, pursued by the three air hostesses he was dating and a crowd that has now learned the truth.
