In 2070, a devastating war leaves the world split by a towering wall. The rich reside in Silver City under Dalini, while the poor survive in a ruined city under harsh control. The setting establishes a stark social divide that drives the film's conflict.

Guddu works as Dalini's henchman's organizer of boxing matches, earning money from bets placed by the city’s rich. The profits fuel Dalini's control over the Silver City and its fights. His role ties him to the power structure that oppresses the poor.

John sends Guddu to take Dimple to a nightclub where she becomes physical with him. John catches them red-handed and has them buried alive as punishment. Guddu miraculously survives the burial and begins a new path.

Guddu miraculously survives the burial and is found by Kaizad, who sends him away to the Poor City. There he meets Shiva, a seasoned combat trainer who becomes his mentor.

During his time with Shiva, Guddu learns that he is Ganapath, a legendary savior foretold by Maharishi Dalapathi. The revelation redefines his purpose and aligns him with the oppressed.

He undergoes intense training under Shiva and his confidante Jassi, sharpening his combat skills and embracing the Ganapath identity. The training cements his resolve to fight for the poor.

Now a skilled fighter, Guddu appears to serve Dalini and John as Ganapath, but secretly fights for the poor. He wins matches while deceiving John, Dalini, and their henchmen about his true allegiance.

Guddu engineers a plan for the final fight by convincing John and Dalini's associate to bet money on his opponent, intending to lose the match on purpose to trigger a bigger payoff for the plan. He uses the setup to strike back at his enemies.

He secretly instructs Jassi to urge the poor to wager their savings on the final match, turning the crowd's desperation into a weapon against the rich. The plan amplifies the wealth transfer as a form of revenge.

In the early rounds, Guddu dominates his opponent with ease, displaying the power of Ganapath and building momentum for his plan. The crowd begins to sense something bigger is at play.

In the third round, Guddu pretends to lose after realizing John has gambled on the other fighter. The fake loss anchors the tension as the true motive behind his actions deepens.

Guddu makes a sweeping comeback and defeats the opponent, delivering a heavy blow to John and Dalini financially. The victory is broadcast on television, revealing his true plan and his solidarity with the poor.

He proclaims that Shiva is his biological father and that the poor deserve a real chance to challenge the rich with their winnings, all while donning Ganapath's mantle. The speech cements his new public identity.

Dalini is revealed as Guddu's doppelgänger and as an AI construct, perfecting the deception that kept the city in fear. Guddu challenges this AI Dalini to a fight, hinting at Ganapath 2: Rise of the Hero.
