Authorities arrive and the hijackers demand 1,000,000,000 rupees, the release of their imprisoned leader Yusuf Khan, and a fresh aircraft for their escape. Negotiators brace for a long standoff as the demands are communicated. The crew and passengers brace for a high-stakes crisis.

A government team led by Home Secretary K Vishwanath is assembled to handle the crisis. Officials weigh the risks of a direct assault versus a protracted siege and hesitate to authorize a risky operation. Ravi and his NSG colleagues await a clear decision.

Ravi recalls his fallen colleague during a previous encounter and pushes for a special forces operation. He urges the government to allow a bold rescue to save passengers, arguing time is running out. Officials remain cautious, delaying a decisive move.

Nawaz Khan and Tamil Nadu Police locate a missing cleaner who prepared the toilet for the hijack. After a chase in Red Hills, they capture him and he admits involvement but offers only vague details about the weapon. They deduce the weapon is a plastic explosive.

The government agrees to release Yusuf Khan, but he dies in an accident while being transported to the airport. Ravi insists officials confirm Khan's death so he can plan without tipping off the hijackers. A reporter overhears officials discussing Khan's supposed survival.

A reporter disguises as an aide and records the plane; he overhears officials discussing Khan's status. The information leaks publicly, causing panic among the hijackers. One terrorist kills Subash and threatens to kill another passenger every 30 minutes unless Khan is alive.

Ravi crafts a rescue plan named Operation Garuda. He uses a female cleaner to secretly smuggle a mobile phone onto the plane, enabling covert communication with Colonel Jagadheesh. The plan also involves convincing the hijackers that Khan is alive and receiving treatment.

The rescue team executes the plan as the hijackers transit to a new flight. Four of the five hijackers are killed, and the last is eliminated with help from two passengers. The situation shifts from standoff to controlled reentry as passengers are freed.

The plastic explosive is discovered in Afshana's bag. Ravi discards the bag and it detonates, ending the immediate threat. Authorities regain control and the plane continues toward its destination.

The Prime Minister commends Ravi and the rescue effort. Passengers bid farewell and plan to meet again. The terrorists are identified as Yasin (leader), Munna, Omar, Anwar, and Abdul.
