Three childhood friends Ganesh, Diganth, and Kitty are nabbed for drunk driving during a night out in Bangalore. They manage to escape serious consequences by leveraging Ganesh's father's influence, avoiding legal action. The escape emboldens them to keep taking reckless risks.

Seeking distraction after a breakup, they travel to Diganth's grandfather's house in Mugilpete. There they are introduced to Kodandaram and begin staying at his guesthouse. The change of scene offers a new circle of relationships.

Kodandaram, a hunter now wheelchair-bound after an accident, lives with his wife Padma and daughters Sowmya, Radha, and Pavani. The trio becomes part of the household and forms bonds with the villagers. The household's dynamics set the stage for the hunting adventures.

Ganesh expresses fascination with Kodandaram's hunting spoils and persuades him to join them in hunting the wild boar that crippled him two years earlier. The plan reopens old tensions and charts the group's next excursion.

During the forest hunt, Kodandaram accidentally shoots Diganth in the chest. A gong worn around Diganth's neck somehow saves him from a fatal blow, becoming a pivotal turning point in the story.

The group undertakes one last venture to kill the boar. As the boar approaches, Kodandaram, though wheelchair-bound, rises and refuses to shoot. He is grateful to the chance to walk again and even calls the boar an incarnation of Varaha.

Over the days, Diganth develops feelings for Radha, who reciprocates. Their budding romance strengthens the social fabric of the house and gains the elders' implicit blessing.

Meanwhile, Pavani falls for Kitty, who also develops affection for her. This double romance adds complexity to wedding plans and enriches the group dynamics.

Kodandaram and Padma give their blessing to the two couples and decide to fix their weddings. The elder's approval bridges tradition with the youths' choices.

Ganesh tries to confess his love for Sowmya by writing a note on a kite. The kite flies away, the confession is awkward, and Sowmya initially declines his feelings, choosing to focus on her own path.

Sowmya decides to take up an NGO job in Switzerland and leaves for the nearest airport. Ganesh accompanies her, supporting her decision and underscoring their evolving relationship.

In a last wish to fly kites with the village kids, they cross the river by coracle. Just as Sowmya confesses her love for Ganesh, the coracle capsizes; Ganesh saves her, and she embraces him in a hopeful hug.
