Rose, a kind-hearted driving instructor from a quaint little town, possesses extraordinary supernatural abilities known as “The Talents,” allowing her to communicate with the spirit realm. Though Rose wishes to embrace her gift, her experiences, particularly with her father, Vincent Dooley, have left her wary. She often tries to ignore the myriad of local spiritual disturbances—be it haunted trash cans, tractors, children’s bicycles, or frying pans.

However, when Sarah seeks her assistance regarding her father, Martin Martin, who is haunted by the relentless spirit of his late wife, Rose feels an undeniable urge to help. After all, Martin appears to be a genuinely nice man.

In the meantime, a washed-up rock star named Christian Winter, who resides in a grand castle on the outskirts of town, is devising a wicked plan to reclaim his fame by selling his soul. His sinister intentions involve sacrificing a virgin, and thus he casts a spell on Sarah, rendering her in a frighteningly catatonic, levitating state. Confused and desperate, Martin Martin approaches Rose for help, prompting them both to embark on a mission to reverse the spell that may ultimately lead to Sarah’s damnation.

As they strive to exorcise the many vengeful spirits in their way before it’s too late, they encounter surreal situations involving haunted traffic lights and possessed eggbeaters. Through this bizarre journey, they discover their synergy and a budding romantic tension, though both are hesitant to act upon it.

Meanwhile, Christian Winter becomes aware of their attempts to obstruct his malevolent plans and devises a means to hinder Rose’s abilities. United by their urgent cause, Rose and Martin must join forces to rescue Sarah, prevent a catastrophic rift to hell from opening, thwart Christian’s wicked schemes, facilitate a baby’s birth, save a struggling magpie, and find a way to deal with Martin’s ex-wife—all while nurturing their feelings for each other before calamity strikes their world.
