Henry’s path grows more complicated when he is caught by the Royal Guard after stepping in to avert bandits who threaten Leonardo da Vinci, who has been invited to the royal court by King Francis. He halts the wedding and searches for her, only to learn that Rodmilla sold Danielle to Pierre Le Pieu after the ball. Henry and Laurent set out on a rescue mission, only to discover that Danielle has already escaped on her own.
