Event Horizon

In 2047, Earth intercepts a mysterious signal from the starship *Event Horizon*. This ship had been lost since 2040, when it vanished during its inaugural mission beyond Neptune.

Following the signal's interception, a rescue vessel named *Lewis and Clark* is dispatched to investigate. The crew is under the command of Captain Miller and includes Dr. William Weir, the ship’s creator.

The crew arrives at the *Event Horizon*, which is now in a decaying orbit around Neptune. Dr. Weir explains that the ship was designed to test an experimental gravity drive for faster space travel.

Weir reveals that during its maiden voyage to Proxima Centauri, the ship disappeared. The only thing received since its return is a horrifying message from the last captain containing screams and a plea for salvation.

As the crew boards the *Event Horizon*, they find no signs of life. They split up to search the ship, leading to unsettling discoveries, including a frozen corpse and a haunting black mirror.

With the *Lewis and Clark* critically damaged and only 20 hours of oxygen left, the crew reluctantly relocates to the *Event Horizon*. Justin, terrified by his experiences, attempts to escape but is saved at a cost.

The crew starts experiencing horrifying hallucinations, each reflecting their deepest fears and regrets. Miller is haunted by a past mission, and Peters faces traumatic memories of her son.

The crew discovers that the *Event Horizon*'s gravity drive succeeded in bending space-time but led to a dimension filled with chaos and evil. Video logs reveal the original crew engaging in atrocious acts after activating the drive.

As crew members fall victim to the ship's dark influence, tragedy strikes. Peters is lured to her death by an apparition, while Dr. Weir succumbs to his horrific visions and assaults the remaining crew.

Under the control of the ship's malevolence, Weir detonates explosives, leading to chaos aboard the *Event Horizon*. This results in the death of the pilot and threatens the entire crew with annihilation.

A countdown begins as the gravity drive is activated, pulling the ship towards the chaos dimension. Cooper manages a desperate move to stop Weir and confront the escalating disaster.

In a tense climax, Miller battles against the spectral remnants of his past while attempting to reach the ship's explosives. He ultimately sacrifices himself to destroy the *Event Horizon*.

The *Event Horizon* detonates, and its remnants sever, leaving only a portion intact. Starck and Cooper, along with a comatose Justin, find temporary refuge in the surviving sections of the ship.

As the survivors cling to life, they hope for rescue. However, upon waking from stasis, Starck faces the disturbing reality of arriving rescuers too late, leaving a sense of foreboding.

Despite their escape, an ominous presence hints at the lingering influence of the *Event Horizon*. The reality that the dark force may not be vanquished remains as the automated hatch seals them in.
