As the final moments of their family holiday at Walt Disney World arrive, blue-collar worker Jim White experiences a shocking upheaval when he receives the devastating news of his job termination from his boss during a call at the Contemporary Resort Hotel. Despite the heavy burden of this revelation, Jim chooses to keep it hidden from his wife, Emily, and their children, Elliot and Sara, wanting to preserve the joy of their vacation.

While boarding the monorail, Jim becomes captivated by two mysterious French teenagers, Isabelle and Sophie, who draw his gaze unnoticed by his family. As they explore the park, Jim grapples with increasing anxiety and disturbing hallucinations, where animatronic figures twist into grotesque shapes and the words of his loved ones turn sharp with hidden malice.

The pressure builds until an argument explodes between Jim and Emily, pushing him to take his children on an independent adventure while searching for Isabelle and Sophie. During this unsettling outing, Jim encounters a beguiling woman who enchants him with a fascinating necklace, leaving him in a vulnerable state. Upon regaining his senses, she reveals a shocking secret: the costumed princesses he had thought were innocent are actually fronts for a hidden prostitution ring catering to affluent Asian clientele, and those enticing turkey legs served around the park are made from emu meat.

As Jim’s obsession with Isabelle and Sophie strains his relationship with Emily, tensions escalate further. A devastating slap from Emily leads to the harrowing disappearance of Sara, prompting Jim to frantically search for her until he is subdued by security guards using a taser.

When Jim awakens in a mysterious detention facility beneath Epcot’s famed Spaceship Earth, he is confronted with a barrage of unsettling images, including photographs of a woman who had haunted his thoughts throughout the Soarin’ ride and recordings of crucial moments from his past. An android scientist lays bare the disturbing experiment by the Siemens Corporation, traceable back to Jim’s childhood visits to the park with his father. The betrayal is deepened by the revelation that Jim’s boss was complicit in sabotaging his career and the closure of the Buzz Lightyear ride was no accident.

In a blaze of defiance, Jim retaliates against the android scientist before making a harrowing escape through the sewer system. However, his plight intensifies when he finds Sara held captive by the woman, now impersonating Snow White. Initially mesmerized by her necklace, Jim is rescued from enchantment when Sara destroys it, allowing them to flee.

Upon returning to their hotel room, Jim’s struggles worsen as he begins experiencing symptoms similar to cat flu, an affliction accidentally transmitted by Sophie earlier. As Elliot awakens to Jim’s distress, he is confronted with his friends’ pleas for help but chooses to shut the door instead, leaving Jim to confront his dire fate alone.

The next day, Emily’s devastating discovery of Jim’s lifeless body foreshadows tragic events to come. As the cleaning staff arrives to tidy the scene, they inadvertently implant false memories in Elliot’s mind, filling it with false nostalgia for a Buzz Lightyear ride he never took. Meanwhile, as Jim’s body is quietly removed, a new family—including an alternate version of Jim, the enigmatic woman from the Soarin’ ride, and their daughter—settles into the hotel, casting an eerie shadow over the surreal happenings around them.
