Dr. No

John Strangways, the MI6 Station Chief in Jamaica, is brutally murdered by the trio of assassins known as The Three Blind Mice. His secretary is also killed in the attack, and their home is ransacked for sensitive files regarding Crab Key Island and Dr. No.

After learning about Strangways' disappearance, M, the head of MI6, assigns agent James Bond to investigate the situation. M believes Strangways may have been involved in a case related to CIA operations concerning radio jamming affecting rocket launches from Cape Canaveral.

James Bond arrives in Jamaica, where he is immediately approached by an enemy agent posing as a chauffeur. In a tense encounter, the agent kills himself using a cyanide cigarette before Bond can extract any information from him.

Bond meets Quarrel, a boatman who reveals he is working with the CIA and introduces Bond to Felix Leiter, a CIA operative. Together, they investigate Strangways' disappearance and uncover connections to Crab Key Island.

Bond discovers a receipt from Professor R.J. Dent, a local geologist with ties to Dr. No, in Strangways' house. Following up, Bond questions Dent about the mineral samples they collected from Crab Key but finds his responses suspicious.

Under Dr. No's orders, Professor Dent attempts to kill Bond by sending a tarantula into his hotel room. Bond cleverly kills the spider and survives the assassination attempt, growing more wary of Dent's connection to Strangways' case.

Bond meets Miss Taro, a double agent working for Dr. No, while visiting Government House. She seduces him and invites him to her cabin, but Bond overhears her calling Dent, which leads to her arrest.

After gathering clues, Bond convinces Quarrel to take him to Crab Key Island. The pair set out to uncover the truth behind the mysterious radio jamming, despite warnings that the island is owned by Dr. No.

On Crab Key, Bond encounters Honey Ryder, a shell diver who is searching for answers about her father's mysterious death. They decide to team up to escape the island after an ambush from Dr. No’s forces.

After escaping an attack, Bond and Honey Ryder are captured and taken to Dr. No's hidden base. They undergo decontamination due to radiation exposure and are later introduced to Dr. No himself.

During a dinner with Dr. No, Bond learns that he plans to disrupt the Project Mercury space launch at Cape Canaveral using a powerful radio beam. Dr. No's motivations stem from a vendetta against governments that rejected him.

Bond cleverly escapes from his incarceration and sneaks into the control center of the base. He discovers a nuclear reactor powering the jamming signal and manages to overload it before the launch begins.

As Bond disrupts the operation, Dr. No attempts to stop him but falls into the reactor pool and meets his demise. The base begins to self-destruct, leading to chaos and evacuation.

Bond frees Honey Ryder, and together they make their escape from Crab Key as the base is destroyed. They flee in a boat, narrowly avoiding capture and destruction.

After running out of fuel, Bond and Honey are discovered adrift by Felix Leiter, who arranges for their rescue by a Royal Navy ship. The film ends with a romantic moment between Bond and Honey as they share a kiss.
