Doraemon: Nobita Drifts in the Universe

Doraemon and friends start a game using a gadget from the future. Gian and Suneo wreck the playful competition with aggressive moves, sending Nobita, Doraemon, and Shizuka back to Nobita's room. The Gravity Modifier makes the room weightless, turning the game into chaos before it is ruined.

The discarded game is discovered to have been thrown away by Nobita's mother. They rush to the dump to recover it, only to find that the game is already gone. Disappointed, they realize they must pursue clues elsewhere.

Using the Time Camera, Doraemon witnesses a strange light carrying the game toward a spaceship. They then find a glowing rock at the departure site and decide to pursue it with the Space Exploration Boat. This sets the group on a new outer-space adventure.

During the chase, they travel through a wormhole storm and evacuate their Space Exploration Boat. They board the alien ship using the Pass Loop and discover Gian and Suneo inside, but the ship's crew locks them in a room, trapping them.

The spaceship lands on a rocky, barren planet inhabited by giant metallic spiders. Doraemon and the others escape the locked room, trying to avoid the spiders while the ship becomes ensnared in their webs.

Doraemon uses an enlarged Hamelin Pipe to scare the spiders away and clear the webs, freeing the spaceship and its crew to continue their journey.

The crew reveal themselves as Lian, Log, Freya, and Gorogoro, who are on a mission to find a habitable planet. They explain they’ll take the group back to Earth after repairing their warp device.

A meteor-like assault drains the ship's energy, and the group is pulled to a secret base. There they meet Liebert, Lian's father, and Angolmois, an evil cloaked figure who wants to conquer Earth. Freya is revealed to be a spy, and the others are imprisoned.

Using the Underground Submarine, Doraemon and the group escape and race back toward Lian's ship, fighting off Angolmois's robot soldiers. Freya hesitates to join but finally helps when urged by Lian.

They reach the mothership and its council debates how to deal with Angolmois. Nobita realizes the glowing rock is a seed from the god-tree, and Lian prays, with a projection of his late mother guiding him to save his father from Angolmois.

Doraemon, Nobita, Lian, and Freya land on Angolmois's base and use Nendoron to turn a control rod into clay, disabling all enemy spacecraft. Liebert destroys Angolmois's body, revealing him to be a robot.

Their ship is on a collision course with the mothership, but they attach a Reverse Cloak and illuminate it with the Big Light to deflect the threat. Angolmois regrows a new body, chases them to a door, but gets stuck, is frozen by Coagulation Light, and is sent into a black hole.

With Angolmois defeated, the mothership's inhabitants celebrate as Lian's group returns Doraemon and his friends to Earth. Lian vows to find another planet for his people.

The film ends with a repeat of the fog-planet scene, but this time the outcome is more hopeful as everyone looks forward to their next adventure.
