Disenchanted

Ten years after the first film, Giselle, Robert, and their daughter Morgan are enjoying a seemingly blissful life in Manhattan. However, the hustle and bustle of city life starts to take its toll on their family.

In search of a quieter and more peaceful life, Giselle decides to relocate her family to the suburban town of Monroeville. The decision is met with challenges, including extensive home renovations and Robert's long commute for work.

Morgan finds it difficult to adjust to her new school in Monroeville and feels alienated from her peers. This leads to tension and misunderstandings between her and Giselle as they navigate their new life.

Unexpectedly, King Edward and Queen Nancy arrive from their kingdom of Andalasian, appearing through a well in the backyard. They gift Sofia a magical, wish-granting wand, stirring excitement and concern.

Giselle has an encounter with Malvina Monroe, the self-important head of the town council. Malvina is organizing a fairy tale-themed ball and she inadvertently embarrasses Morgan in her attempts to help her fit in.

Feeling the need for change, Giselle uses the magical wand to wish for her family’s life to resemble a perfect fairy tale. The next day, Monroeville transforms into a whimsical place called Monrolasia.

In Monrolasia, Morgan enjoys a new lifestyle, and Robert sees himself as a brave adventurer. However, the enchanting change begins to corrupt Giselle, leading her down a path of arrogance and mistreatment towards Morgan.

Giselle discovers a scroll that instructs her on the wand's magic, revealing that her wish is draining Andalasia's magic. With the looming threat of a permanent transformation by midnight, Giselle begins to panic.

Desperate to save their family, Giselle persuades Morgan to travel back to Andalasia through the well. There, Morgan learns that the magic she needs lies in the cherished memories of her family.

With the guidance of Nancy and Edward, Morgan learns to revive magical memories of her family to help Giselle remember her true self. They embark on a quest filled with nostalgic adventures.

Giselle, who is consumed by her darker side, confronts Malvina in a battle for Monrolasia’s throne. Meanwhile, Morgan, united with Nancy and Tyson, works to stop the duel and save her family.

In a moment of clarity, Morgan throws a drawing of their family to Giselle. Although Giselle initially tears it apart, the magic inside ignites, allowing her to reclaim her kind-hearted nature.

As midnight approaches, Malvina captures Morgan, demanding the wand from Giselle. This climactic moment pushes Giselle to reflect on her true nature and the essence of her relationship with her daughter.

With a heartfelt wish, Morgan uses the wand to return home with her mother, just as chaos looms. The spell is broken, and they awaken in their house, with only memories of the fairy tale adventures.

In the aftermath, Giselle reconciles with Malvina, and Robert establishes a new practice in Monroeville. The family integrates joyfully into their community, hinting at a brighter future filled with love and acceptance.
