The film explores the growing sense of isolation felt by elderly individuals within modern, nuclear families. Removed from the central roles they once held in traditional joint families, some seek attention through disruptive behavior. It highlights the difficulties faced when trying to understand and address the needs of aging parents, particularly by those with a more detached, professional approach to life.
