Shyam and Sita travel to Jalpaiguri to perform and earn money for the family's rent. During the performance, Sita attracts the attention of the powerful man A.M. Singh. He stops them on the way home, kills Shyam, and rapes Sita, setting off the chain of events that will shape their children's lives.

Radha and Ramu are informed of their parents' deaths. The house proprietor bans them from the family home, leaving the siblings homeless and reliant on their own wits. They struggle to survive while pursuing music, as the dream of a better future glimmers on the horizon.

Years pass and Radha and Ramu become successful and popular singers. They perform on many stages, earning recognition and a loyal fan base. Their rise establishes them as a notable duo in the music scene.

Ramu develops feelings for Janita, while Radha marries Resham, a fellow troupe member. They continue to perform together, balancing personal relationships with their music. The marriages bind the group, even as tensions begin to simmer beneath the surface.

Resham becomes possessive and abusive toward Radha, creating a dangerous atmosphere in the marriage. Ramu notices the danger and tries to intervene, but Radha resists outside help. The troupe grows uneasy as fear shadows their performances.

Upon arriving in Jalpaiguri, Ramu is reunited with his mother. She recounts the events of the past, explaining Shyam and Sita's deaths and Radha's fate. The revelation pieces together the motive behind the original tragedy.

Ramu organizes a large concert dedicated to his sister, turning the performance into a memorial. The crowd responds with emotion as Radha's memory fuels the show. The event marks a turning point for the troupe.

During the concert, Singh appears and attempts to kill Ramu, seeking to erase his family's honor. Resham, consumed by guilt, sacrifices himself to save Ramu and is shot in the process. The moment shifts the power dynamics and raises the stakes toward the finale.

Singh tries to kidnap Janita, but Ramu arrives just in time to rescue her. He confronts Singh and takes revenge for his father's life and his mother's honor. The police arrest Singh, bringing the story toward its resolution.
