Curse of the Queerwolf

Larry Smallbut Michael Palazzolo meets someone he believes to be a woman, but this person is actually a transvestite who bites him on the buttocks, turning him into a dickanthrope. The bite triggers a transformation that erupts at night under a full moon, leaving Larry torn between his ordinary life and the strange urges that rise after darkness. His girlfriend, Taylor Whitney as Lois Gerstel, grows increasingly distressed, accusing him of hiding a double life and pushing him to confront the unsettling truth about himself.

A group of queerwolf-hunting cult members track the transformed man to his apartment, where they warn him that a curse radiates danger and dread. The cult ultimately confronts the original queerwolf and ends its threat with a weapon believed to be the only thing that can kill a dickanthrope: a silver dildo, a shockingly brutal moment that sets the tone for the movie’s darkly offbeat humor.

A gypsy named Holly, Darwyn Carson, offers to help him, but Larry initially refuses. He relents after the first full moon, when the need to control his condition becomes urgent. Holly explains that the only way to fight the transformation is to wear a medallion bearing a picture of John Wayne. The talisman, she claims, can prevent the change—and for a time, at least, buy him back a semblance of normal life.

With the medallion in place, Larry and Lois attempt to celebrate with a dinner at a fancy restaurant. The evening is strained but hopeful, until the queerwolf hunters reappear, charging that Larry is still a dickanthrope. Confident in the medallion’s power, Larry denies their claim and steps into the moonlight to prove that the proof is in the night itself, not in their accusations.

Trouble arrives in the form of a restaurant heist, as armed men attempt to rob the dining room. Larry recalls that he is vulnerable to only one weapon, and he defends the place with remarkable prowess. In the chaos, however, his medallion breaks and falls away, and Larry fully transforms before the hunters’ eyes. He sinks his teeth into several men, who immediately transform as well, and the encircling hunters pin him down for a ritual they call a fagxorcism. The head priest, Sergio Bandera, sprinkles beer on him and shows him pictures of macho icons like Burt Reynolds and Mr. T, a scene that culminates in Larry vomiting pink soup.

The ritual, though brutal, appears to restore him to his ordinary state. Yet the final moments pull the rug out: in a grim audio-only twist during the closing credits, Larry is revealed to have been arrested, tried, and convicted for accidentally running over the Gypsy woman, spending the rest of his life in prison. The film leaves a lingering mix of absurd horror and consequence, a warped cautionary tale about identity, secrecy, and the price of living with a curse.
