Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey!

Maggie tells Ted that his loved ones need more attention than his demanding career because Ted has been prioritizing his work on the museum vision over spending time with George and his personal relationships. This conversation happens right before Ted decides to take George to the magic show, setting up the movie's central theme of finding balance between work and family.

When Danno arrives in a helicopter to forcibly recover Kayla, a pig suddenly appears and knocks Danno into a rain barrel. Kayla's presence then scares the helicopter pilot, causing the crew to retreat. This gives Ted, George, and Kayla time to escape on a school bus headed toward the animal park.

After Danno arrests them and boards a plane back to New York with Kayla, George finds the handcuff keys in Danno's pocket. The friends escape by skydiving from the plane, landing safely back in New York City. Kayla remains at the animal park with her family.

Though Ted starts his Board presentation flustered and unable to read his prepared notes, he pivots to an improvised, heartfelt speech about how friendship and family matter more than work. He proposes community ideas like Father and Son Day. The Board is moved by his sincerity and approves his appointment.

In the final scene, Piccadilly and his assistant Tina reveal that Tonga and Layla have joined his act. This means Kayla can now be with her family while also performing in the show, allowing all three elephant siblings to stay together.
